When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile image. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account.

We collect your selected Christian denomination, age group, and chat style preferences (concise or detailed responses) to personalize your experience.

Conversation Data

We store the messages you send and the AI-generated responses you receive during conversations with Bible characters. This includes message content, timestamps, and the character involved.

Usage Data

We track daily message counts to manage free-tier limits. We also collect session information such as IP address and user agent for security purposes.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to GodlyChat Pro, payment processing is handled by Paystack. We store your subscription status and Paystack customer identifiers but do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the GodlyChat service
  • Personalize AI responses based on your denomination, age group, and style preferences
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account
  • Enforce usage limits for free-tier users

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • AI providers — Your messages are sent to third-party AI services (such as Groq and OpenRouter) to generate responses. These providers process message content but do not receive your name or email.
  • Payment processors — Paystack processes your payment information when you subscribe to GodlyChat Pro.
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in our database systems. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. Free-tier users' conversation history is accessible for 30 days; Pro users have unlimited history access. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate data
